Invent a game and get it printed as part of activity booklet with the help of Liz Oakley, the Gibson's Art Studio Lead.
Can playing a game change how we relate to the world around us?
What happens when we work together to make up our own rules?
What even is a game, and what could it be?
Using a range of media, including drawing, exploration with found objects, collage, creative writing, and zine-making, you will work collaboratively to invent new games and visual prompts that can serve as frameworks for receiving the world -- and navigating it together through hard times.
By the end of the workshop, an activity book that collects all the games we invented together will be printed, and we'll each take home a copy!
