A transformative project like the Marianne and Edward Gibson Art Museum cannot come to fruition without tremendous dedication and support. SFU is profoundly grateful for the leadership and generosity of our donor community, particularly the Gibson Family Trust, whose passion and enthusiasm has made this art museum possible. SFU and the Gibson team also extend heartfelt thanks to those who have helped make this art museum a reality through their generous contributions to the building fund, including the Djavad Mowafaghian Foundation, the Tuey Charitable Foundation, the Audain Foundation, and an anonymous gift in honour of SFU President emeritus Dr. Andrew Petter.  

The Gibson’s operations and programming are generously supported by Simon Fraser University, the Canada Council for the Arts, and the British Columbia Arts Council, along with numerous foundations, individual Friends of the Gibson, community partners, and volunteers.
